Welcome to Atonement, Wyomissing!

We know visiting a church for the first time can feel intimidating. Our hope is simple: that from the moment you arrive, you'll experience a genuine welcome, meaningful worship, and a community where you can belong before you believe everything, have every answer, or know everyone's name.
At Atonement, there's a place for you.

Whether you've been part of a church your whole life or you've never stepped inside one before, you're welcome at Atonement. We believe God's love is for everyone, and we strive to be a community where people of every age, background, identity, and life experience can grow in faith together.

Our worship is rooted in the rich traditions of the Lutheran Church while speaking to life today. You'll experience meaningful music, Scripture, practical preaching, prayer, and Holy Communion in about an hour. We gather because God first gathers us—with grace, hope, and love.

As a congregation of the ELCA, we believe we are saved by God's grace through faith—not by earning God's love. That means we strive to be a church marked by generosity, compassion, justice, and welcome.

Life can be complicated. Faith can be, too. At Atonement, we don't expect anyone to have perfect answers. We simply gather around God's promises, encouraging one another as we grow together.
