Atomenent Christian Preschool
For nearly 50 years, Atonement Christian Preschool has helped children grow, learn, and thrive in a caring, faith-filled environment. Founded in 1976 as a ministry of Atonement Lutheran Church, our preschool provides a developmentally appropriate early childhood education that nurtures the whole child—spiritually, socially, emotionally, intellectually, and physically.
We believe every child is a beloved child of God, created with unique gifts, talents, and potential. Our experienced and caring staff create a safe and welcoming space where children can explore, discover, build friendships, and develop the confidence they need for success in kindergarten and beyond.

Welcome to Atonement Christian Preschool!

Our Approach
At Atonement Christian Preschool, learning happens through play, exploration, creativity, and meaningful relationships. Our curriculum is designed to foster curiosity, encourage independence, and help children develop a lifelong love of learning.
Spiritual Growth
Faith is woven naturally into the life of our preschool. Children learn about God's love through daily prayers, Bible stories, songs, and monthly chapel services. We strive to help every child discover that they are deeply loved by God and called to care for the world and the people around them.
Social & Emotional Development
Learning to navigate friendships, express emotions, and work cooperatively with others is an important part of early childhood. We encourage children to grow as confident individuals while developing empathy, kindness, and respect for their classmates, families, and community.
Cognitive Development
Young children are natural explorers. Through hands-on activities, guided discovery, and play-based learning, students develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and reasoning skills. Children investigate the world around them through science, math, language, social studies, art, and creative play.
Language & Early Literacy
Strong communication skills are essential for future learning. Through stories, music, finger plays, puppetry, conversations, and dramatic play, children build vocabulary and confidence in expressing themselves. Early literacy skills are introduced through alphabet recognition, phonics, rhyming activities, and our Letter of the Week program, helping prepare children for kindergarten success.
Physical Development
Children need opportunities to move, play, and develop coordination. Daily activities support both large muscle and small muscle development.
Gross Motor Skills: Through recess, games, gym activities, climbing, balancing, running, and jumping, children strengthen their bodies while building confidence and coordination.
Fine Motor Skills: Puzzles, blocks, Legos, beads, art projects, and hands-on activities help children develop hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and the foundational skills needed for writing and other classroom tasks.
A Place for Every Child
Atonement Christian Preschool welcomes and values all children and families. Admissions, services, referrals, and employment practices are conducted without regard to race, color, religious creed, disability, ancestry, national origin, age, or sex.
