100th Anniversary update

Congratulations Atonement! We survived the blizzard of 2010 (not to mention a couple of other snowstorms thrown in for good measure)!

With March finally here let's hope we've seen the last of old man winter for awhile. And with that in mind, let's look ahead and see what's cooking.

Well, speaking of cooking, have you sent in your reservation for the 100th Anniversary banquet that will be held at the Inn at Reading on Friday, April 23? If not, please take a moment to reserve your spot now and join us as we toast our first 100 years. This buffet style dinner starts with a cocktail hour from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., with dinner immediately following. Pastor Tom Reinsel will share a few words with us. Reservation forms are included in the weekly church bulletin. The cost is $37.50 person; $75 per couple. Contact Dave Reeser or Barbara Homsher with questions.

We're also planning a spring concert at the Stone House in Wyomissing, on Sunday, June 13. This will be a free concert in the park for the entire community. Stained Grass Window will perform on Sunday evening, starting at 6 p.m. Refreshments will be available. Watch for more details as we get closer to this event.

As we said before, we hope you've heard many of our former leaders at our Sunday services. In February, Pastor Tom Reinsel was our most recent guest. It's been great having these leaders back to join us. But we're not done yet. There's more to come. Mark your calendars in March, April, and May as we welcome:  

• Pastor Luther Routté, March 14.
• Pastor Peter Pettit, April 11.
• Pastor Eric Schafer, May 9. 

Details about our history book and picnic are just beginning to take shape. Watch the newsletter for more details in the coming months.

100th Anniversary t-shirts are still available at a cost of only $10 for youth and $12 for adult. They're great to wear at all our events.
